How to Make Lebanese Fattoush ?


Fattoush is a Lebanese mezza dish originally from the Levantine region of the Middle East, which includes Lebanon and Syria, is a salad that can be enjoyed as an appetizer as well as a main course.

Here are the ingredients:

  • 1 Kilo tomatoes
  • ½ Kilo cucumber
  • Pack of green onions
  • Pack of green mint
  • Pack of parsley
  • Package of red radish package
  • 1 Tablespoon sumac
  • 3 Tablespoons pomegranate molasses
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 5 Lebanese loaves of toasted bread
  • 5 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 ½ Teaspoon salt


Here are the steps:

  1. Open bread and cut into small pieces then sprinkle it with a little bit of sumac and olive oil. Heat it in the oven for 3 to 5 minutes at a temperature of 200 ° C until it turns golden and then set it aside.
  2. Cut the tomatoes, cucumber, onion, parsley, radish, lettuce into small pieces and add to them the mint leaves then place all the vegetables in a large bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl mix well the sumac, pomegranate molasses, lemon juice, olive oil and salt.
  4. Pour the mixture on the vegetables and gently mix them until they are evenly distributed.
  5. You can now add the bread on the salad as per your preference.
